Meet our Founder Matthew Hallwig!

Matt is a musician, singer song writer, audio producer, educator, and creative facilitator based in Boonsboro Maryland. He’s been teaching, jamming, performing, and recording music in Maryland and the Tri-State area since 2010. His love for musical expression has evolved from just performing but into a passion for helping other artists capture their unique sound through his recording studio, World Tree Music Group. Beyond his own projects Matthew teaches music and specializes in music production, drums lessons, Bass and Guitar lessons.

Our Impact

A portion of the money that we raise and make through our lessons, events, and records will be donated to some of these great organizations to help plant more trees around our country and around the world. More than a just music studio, World Tree Music Group is on a mission to bring together like minded creatives from all walks of life that are focused on making a positive impact on our planet.

Trees are incredibly important to our health. “Trees help clean the air we breathe, filter the water we drink, and provide habitat to over 80% of the world's terrestrial biodiversity.Forests provide jobs to over 1.6 billion people, absorb harmful carbon from the atmosphere, and are key ingredients in 25% of all medicines.” One Tree Planted
